Dentures are made to last five to seven years, after which they should be replaced.  One reason is as the denture ages it becomes porous making the denture more susceptible to break.  Also, it may be harder to get rid of any sicknesses because bacteria become trapped in the pores of the denture plastic.

Denture Repair Glue :
Those who are unaware of professional denture repair service by mail often find their own denture repair remedy by using glue from a hardware store. While this may be a quick fix, using any kind of glue for denture repairs is poisonous.  After the fixed denture is placed in the mouth, tiny fragments of the glue loosen from being exposed to the hostile environment in the mouth.  The constant rubbing of foods while eating and the movement of the tongue help the glue wear down.  The end result is a broken denture with fragments of dried glue on the denture.
